Bubbles & Burgers KOYT Radio Fundraiser
Sage Mountain Farm was honored to donate our grass-fed beef & veggies in support of KOYT 97.1 FM Anza Community Broadcasting annual fundraiser luncheon last weekend!
KOYT is an all volunteer community supported nonprofit that brought together the best of Anza to create a truly spectacular event! The warm rustic setting exemplified farm-to-table dining & gave host to incredible flavor combinations that were out of this world.
Chef Alexander Calapodis crafted a wonderland of culinary delights like a celebration that danced on the palette! His homemade salad dressing complemented our freshly harvested veggies in a way that farmer Phil couldn’t stop raving about! & the potato salad… ohhh my goodness… bright & creamy with high notes of dill to elevate the earthy potato, sent hearts singing like a sensory opera!
Then as if it couldn’t get any better, Chef Alexander delivered a masterpiece of a burger with brilliantly caramelized onions that was pasture to plate magic! Farmer Phil, who is no stranger to exemplary five star chefs, was practically speechless by what chef Alexander brought to plate; but the look on his face said it all.
It’s exciting to work with talented local chefs who really understand the value of local, sustainable food, and know how to organize an amalgam of flavors that bring out the best of what small farms have to offer.
