Butternut Squash with Walnuts Recipe
Simple, easy, tasty, quick! Baked Butternut Squash on a cold day warms the bones, and the kitchen! On chilly winter days like we’ve had, butternut squash is a healthy remedy for the winter chills. Immune boosting Vitamin B6 & Vitamin C will help keep colds away and the potassium in Butternut Squash is good for the bones! Rich in phytonutrients and antioxidants to help renew cells, butternut squash is also high in beta-carotene! This graceful hour-glass shaped fruit is a natural multivitamin, equipping the body to help fight off a multitude of diseases!
Baked Butternut Squash with Walnuts
Ingredients:
- Butternut Squash
- Grass-Fed Raw Butter (or equivalent oil)
- Organic Raw Walnuts
- Cinnamon
- Himalayan Salt & Freshly Ground Pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 475*
Cut Butternut Squash into strips & cut away skin
Cut into squares
Place in baking dish with seeds & guts
Add Grass-fed Raw Butter & sprinkle with Cinnamon, Himalayan salt & Freshly Ground Pepper
Bake at 475* for 25 mins
Add Organic Raw Walnuts (for a boosting powerhouse of Omega 3’s) & Stir
Bake another 10 mins or until golden
Plate, Give Thanks & Enjoy!
